Fall is here, time for the holidays
Ok blogger has changed so having issues uploading and organizing my pictures. We are getting excited for the holidays and the weather has for sure changed. We've been to the pumpkin patch, decorated as scary as we can for Halloween and boughts lots of candy that I've proceeded to open prior to giving to children :) Syd is doing great. She's as busy as a bee and it's fun trying to keep up with her. She's getting all of her (what I like to call) vampire teeth in all at the same time so she's very attached to her wubby (stuff pink dirty bear) and pacis. Ty is doing well. He's a little chunk fitting into 6 month outfits and eating well. He's still not quite sleeping through the night but he usually gives us a good 5 to 6 hours of sleep so I can't complain....well I can and do but try not to often :) So here are some pics, hope you enjoy.

Pumpkin patch
Here is a slide that was super long and we thought she'd get scared but she didn't

Ty "exploded" out of his outfit right when we drove up so he got to be in his moby wrap all naked
All tuckered out from the fun (notice the change in outfit, Syd was dirrrrty)

Siblings, love it!

2 and 16 months
We've been nice and busy here in the Herzog house. Lots of diaper changes, outfit changes, bottles, pumping, feeding....ya know all the fun stuff. As a new mom of two I'm finally reaching some normalcy and getting use to this whole idea. Syd still loves her brother and isn't showing many signs of jealousy so we're hoping it stays that way. She knows when he cries to find a paci and place it in his mouth...notice I said "place" when she more shoves it somewhere on his face. That hand eye coordination is still a work in progress. Ty is now sleeping about 5-6 hours in between feedings at night and then another 2-3 after that so really I won't complain at all. Syd is trying to learn how to communicate with us and I think it's a bit frustrating for her just because she just can't get those words out. She knows some sign language but not enough to be satisfied so we're going through a frustrating "ahhh" stage...when I say frustrating I mean all parties involved :) Enjoy the pics and the video at the end.
This was one of our first craft times. I got some fun crayons and needless to say they didn't stay on the paper I gave her for long
Not too sure about the taste of those crayons.
Fun times at the park. This chick could stay outside all day if we let her.
Pretty ladybug
Holding her brother. Fun to hold but when she's done she just kinda brushes him away like he's one of her dolls.
Holding my own....well or two kids and one bottle hahaha
And here is little Ty all decked out in his Husky gear smiling like he loves football :)

6 Weeks along
Well we've been quite busy in the Herzog home especially since momma has been on her own. Little Tyler is growing up so fast, and now that he is eating much much better (even though I'm exclusively pumping :( he is eating and is gaining the oz quickly. We went in at his 5 week weigh in and he had gained 21 oz in just 9 days so no only did he catch up on the weeks he wasn't gaining but he is right on track in the 50% percentile for weight. Syd is starting to really be curious of her brother. She's sat on his head, tried to poke his eyes out, pull him by his arm, take his paci etc etc and yet Ty LOVES it. He very seldom cries unless she head buts him and is just as curious of her. It's very cute and I see great friends in the future. Ty is so much more aware of his surroundings and soon I'll post a smile video so you can see his latest accomplishment :) Here are some photos of the last few weeks.
First Bath (and no I didn't wait 6 weeks but we did wait until maybe 3...haha)
Aunt Vickie gave Syd a huge lamb and she couldn't stop saying "WOWWWWW"
A visit from the Phillips family
Great Aunt Helen came to stay with us for a whole week and it was WONDERFUL!!! Syd got to make some cookies and for sure kept Aunt Helen on her toes and on the go all week long :)
Tummy time with sister
Looks like someone just scared the hizzle out of the little man but he was just chillin

First Video of babes
Here are just some more pics for everyone. We've been busy and had so much help it's been so wonderful. We had Nana for 3 weeks (and looking forward to another visit very soon), Grandma and Grandpa and wonderful Great Aunt Helen!!! This week is the start to being on our own. Scotty is taking this week off and then next week it's all back to the real world :( I am not a fan of the real world but my girlfriends say I can do it so I suppose I'll give it a shot haha. Tyler is 4 weeks old tomorrow and just such a precious little bean, although a super LAZY eater we still love him lots and are just so excited to watch him grow up with his sister. More to come as usual.
