May - Awesome weather and Mother's day

May ended up being a beautiful month, with lots of sun and warm weather.  You know how we like to soak it all up when we can.  You just never know when it will be our last.  We spent a ton of our time outside where everyone is free to run and get all their crazies out.  

We had a garbage truck run over a man hole and knocked it down the hole.  Well it happened in front our house so the truck had to stay to wait for it to fix.  Needless to the say the kids migrated out fast.  Ty didn't hesitate.  Syd watched on the sidelines ensuring that Ty was safe prior to making her entrance

So cold and tired, needing a break.  During this time Syd rolled over and said Tyler, I sure do love you.....Tyler then said I love you too.  Now that made my mother's day for sure.

Little lady might be getting close to needing a regular bike - NANA this is for you

Now I know it's not in the norm to not allow your child to have training wheels but Syd has probably ridden her bike a handful of times and is balancing quite well.  We're thinking about trying out a big girl bike during our next stretch of good weather....which of course could be 2013 but hopefully is sooner than that.  She's doing great and catching on fast.

April - Soccer time and play time!

April allowed the opportunity to do some soccer for the first time.  Both Ty and Syd were in the same class and after the first couple of classes they really started to like it a lot.  More Syd than Ty but it's a tough class to stay engaged in at Ty's age I think.  It was fun to try something different.

Let's do some catching up.....March

Most of you know this but we all headed on our first flight together to San Diego to see our California family.  It was another memorable trip.  The best part of the trip is always just hanging out at G Aunt Toni's house and playing outside.  That backyard has so many memories.  I hope my kids can have their own over time.  We will miss our San Diego family and will see them very soon we hope!!  All my pictures are out of order and I refuse to start over to get in order.  In order....ocean, legoland, spray park, hanging out, easter, saying goodbyes
