One Year Old Bday

My little sweet lady is 1 year old and I still can't believe it. We had such a great party for her and so many wonderful gifts. She is for sure a spoiled girlie but I love it. It was so wonderful to have all my family up, gma and gpa and then all of our friends. For her dessert I made her cupcakes but not just any cupcake, an animal cupcake. That's right, I pulled out all of my creative skills and tried my best. It was interesting to say the least but still very cute.

After most people left and Syd woke up from her nap we opened all the great gifts she got. Here are just a few pics of her silliness.

Well we are all moved into our new home. It's been a crazy process and one I don't recommend prego with a 1 year old but we survived :) We're right down the street from a pretty cool beach so here is a pic of Syd and I in the water and she's very cautious about the waves. Not quite sure she likes them. I tried to put her toes in and she wasn't having it at all!

At the end of May we went on a trip to Cour D Alene, Idaho for Scott's annual pharmacy convention. I had two solid nights baby free. It was wonderful and she did great at Aunt Helen's house. I think Aunt Helen woulda kept her if we would have let her :) Here she is playing with Grandpa Honn's homemade wooden eggs and the various stages of fun......hurt her finger....now all better. Here we are back at home and little Syd is really into mocking people now so she's laid out with her daddy.We had a great time with all our visitors we've had in the last couple of weeks. Nana and Papop came to visit and not only did they help SO much with the house they had a great time with Syd and got to be here for her birthday. On her actual birthday we went to the zoo and she just stared at the animals. But honestly I think we could have gone to a park with squirrels and she would have been just as excited haha. It was fun for us though. Then we headed to Mexican food where Syd enjoyed her tortillas a plenty. Then back home we went for some cupcake celebration. Just took me showing her it was food to get going with it and then the last pic is her sugar comma pass out before bed look. Got some work done on the playground with some new play chips. She loved them until she started to eat them but I figure once she tastes them she'll realize they aren't to eat....yeah right....Aunt Toni came to visit as well and Syd just loved her. They'd play chase around the couch and Aunt Toni would scoot her around in the basket for fun. She had so much entertainment!More to come soon from her 1st bday party and the visit from the Claridys. Baby B, name soon to be announced, is growing fast (as you can see in the pics of me). We've got about 5 weeks left and the doc says on average you go about 5 days earlier than the first so that still puts me a week overdue which is fine by me. My list of to do is still very long so lots to do before the little man arrives. We're getting pretty excited for sure though, still can't believe we're having another baby. Love to all.

We have an official crawler

We were at the new house on Sunday putting the drawers back in the kitchen after a long weekend of painting and she just figured why not....mom and dad aren't around to hand me things so I should just go get them myself. Of course I didn't get it on video BUT I got lots of Day 2 video captured. Enjoy:

We're getting closer to the actual move in date. It's been a long process and not sure what I was thinking being this prego but we've made it this far :) Baby B is growing fast but hanging in there with all the chaos going on. I think he'll for sure be early since I need every day I can get haha. It's always the way it works right. We are getting excited for him and just can't wait to see what that little face looks like. I still can't imagine loving another little bean as much as Syd. It will be pretty crazy!!

So much catching up to do......

Oh man, I promise I'll keep up on this but things have been crazy!!! So let's see....well I assume most that read this know we are expecting a baby boy at the end of July. We're so excited although shocked but excited to expand the family. We've sold our house and bought another one and just in the process of closing both and moving. I started back at work in January part time and it's been such a great balance. Sydney's growing like a week, almost 10 months old. She's got lots of teeth, eating everything in sight, not crawling but scooting around and loves to walk with help and her most favorite is her daddy reading to her in the evenings...Mr Brown can Moo...can you?? is her most fav.
