Lots of catching up to do....

Well we've been really busy here with trips, visitors, new adventures and lots of growing up!!! Wanted to first in honor of football season beginning show the video of Miss Syd in her Husky Booties that her Aunt Linda's mom made for her. Scott really wishes he could have a pair of his own :)

From Sydney:

I discovered my feet at around week 7. Still haven't done much with them but was quite shocked to realize they were attached to me.

I also got in my bouncy chair for the first time and just really love it when the puppy dog sings to me (7 weeks). I giggle and honestly can sit in that chair for hours. When Nana was here we baked cookies and she sat in there the entire time just happy as a clam.

I met up with my best friend Finley and her brother Jet at the park one day as well (8 weeks). It was lots of fun. Mom put me in the "play saucer" as I like to call it and I stared at the tall trees and chatted with best friend Fin. We had a great time...

Had a visit from grandma and grandpa before their trip to Minnesota (9 weeks). Everytime grandma holds me I just can't help but fall asleep. It's just so soothing. Oh and grandpa changed my diaper. He thanked me for having easy cleanup!!

Time to go swimming (9 weeks).....It was Terceks birthday party and everyone was swimming so I had to try it out and see what it was all about. I pretty much drooled on my mom's shoulder the whole time but really loved it and can't wait to splash around on my own one day.

I got a wonderful visit from Nana at around 10 weeks. She held me a ton and we got to know eachother more and more each day. She fed me bottles and we played in the jungle gym where she introduced me to some toys. She showed me how to hold them in my hands so I can try to put them in my mouth. It's still quite tricky but I'm getting better and better everyday.

We had such a great trip with Nana that we decided we should fly down to San Diego (week 11) to visit our cousins and Aunt Toni. The flight down went really well. Mom was SUPER glad that Nana was there to help because she was pretty anxious but I did really well and slept and ate the whole time so no fussing from me at all. The trip back went well but mom looked pretty exhausted when we got home. I was really tired as well and we all got a good nights sleep. The trip was so fun. I got to meet all of my California cousins and hang out with my Fabulous Aunt Toni. I got to dip my toes in the ocean for the first time and it was a bit chilly at first but I didn't mind at all. I love the water!!!

Hanging out with the cousins staring at the fan, that fan is amazing!!

Week 11 - I sat in my bumbo chair for the first time. I'm not sure what I think about it but it's ok. I like to be able to kick my feet so the bumbo may be more fun later but it was interesting to say the least. Wasn't quite sure what to think about it. Oh and had to throw in a pic taking a nap on mom and dad's bed while mom got ready for the day. How cute am I!!!???

Week 12 - We aren't really rolling over but she's starting to show some signs of the skill. Reminder as you watch this video she may not look really happy but this is because we made her do it like 10 times before filming it :)

Last but not least, had our 2 month appointment and besides the drama of getting my shots my stats are as follows: 23.5 inches long (75%), 11lbs 11ozs (50%), and my head is in the 60th percentile at 15 9/16. Lots of love to everyone!!!
