Gotta love those Blue Angels

We heard of a little hidden spot to go check out the Blue Angels.  We had a great time, had to wait a bit too long for them to start and it was hot and the kids got ancy.  We agreed that it will be a few years before we go back.  Just wasn't worth it as much as we love the Angels.

The view

Fancy that...an ice cream truck stopped by

Wy wondering what in the world we are doing here

Getting hot and tired waiting around

Birch Bay - 1st solo family vacation

We had our very first solo family vacation this summer.  It was really fun to go have a fun beach vacation as a family.  So many more to come.  The kids did great, super exhausted by the end and baby Wyatt only kept us on our toes a little bit.  We swam, built sand castles, tons of picnics, park time, snow cones, ice cream and snuggle time reading.  It was a great vacation for sure.

Suppose to be napping but we caught Syd "reading" to her brother.  Super cute!

First beach day, tide barely in, water warm and we are having fun

Look at that face of happiness

Not a huge fan of the actual water but add it to the sand and he's a happy camper

Someone is done

Park time!

Getting ready to go build some sand castles

One of the many shells found at the beach

Building with daddy, tide way out

Watching the tide roll into the sand castle

Where did all this water come from??

Sunbathing.....we still have sand in places 2 months later haha

I'm cold and I'm tired mamma

Pool time here we come

Tried to do a little crafty picture.

Last day on the beach

The first 12 months

Thanks Auntie Susie for making these for me.  It's been fun taking the pictures throughout the year.

Just peacefully doing the dishes when it got awfully quiet......and I walk around the corner to find what??

Happy 4th of July

Had a fantastic 4th with lots of sun and warm weather.  We got our flags out, talked a little bit about what this holiday represented (way to early I got it haha but I tried) and headed up north some for a fun parade then fireworks for daddy and the older kids.  Wyatt and I got into bed for an early nights sleep.

Let's celebrate people!!

these ladies were so nice to let the kids sit at their feet.  Even helped them get candy
