July fun - Seattle does have a summer....

Well summer officially began on July 5th which is pretty typical.  I've got the a/c blasting haha.  We've been having some outdoor fun finally.  I love summer time.  I wish it lasted a few more months than it does.  Syd is talking up a storm, connecting whole sentences now.  It's a little scary how she picks it all up.  Tyler as noted in my earlier post started crawling on July 20th after momma got home from work.  We were all so excited and Tyler is still learning his new skill everyday.  He is figuring it out slowly but surely that he can get places and try to keep up with his sis.  He's got a bit to go but is seeing the light.  Tyler is saying more like momma and daddy and a few other consant sounds and of course is still bald as ever with a bit more fluff in the back.  This summer has been great fun and kept us very busy.  Love to all and my goal for the remaining 2010 is to keep this thing updated :)
Sandbox is out and in full effect.  Note made in mom journal - do not apply sunblock then play in sand right away haha

Pool time.  These kids will play in the pool if it's 30 below outside.  Chattering lips, shaking bodies....no one seems to care. I don't get it

Sliding down the slide backwards

Hey mister...how did you get over there...

Being silly ladies

What did you find under the couch....

4th of July celebration

Had a wonderful 4th of July staying in town.  We first went to a parade in Everett where Grandma Betty was the Queen of the Senior Center and got to ride around waving her wand in her tiara.  It was awesome and we even got to visit with the Phillips and Jim and Nova.  Then we headed back home for some good naps and then over to a friends house for some good food, company and then the fireworks.  Thankfully Scott did make us go downtown to watch the fireworks and our friends had a view from their house.  It was lots of fun.  Ty didn't stay up late enough but he promised next year.  Syd stayed up and partied like the rest of us.

All snuggled up waiting for the parade to start

Momma and her M&M boy

Aunt Linda helped Syd get a flag from the parade peps.  She still has this flag and is sure I never throw away

June - Atlanta and Lake Lanier

Well my camera went out about halfway through the vacation but see Aunt CC's blog for more pics.  Such a wonderful time, we didn't want to leave.  The kids did great minus the flight home so couldn't have asked for a better vacation.

Flight to Atlanta wasn't bad at all....for these two....I'm bouncing the crazy man in the aisles haha

The kids (Ty is in backpack) posing at the aquarium.  They had so much fun running around like crazies.

Baby Ty Ty missing another morning nap so all snuggled up at the aquarium trying to take it all in

This was such a cool wall, hard to tell by the picture but you can push the wall and various things light up.  It was super cool.  Spent at least 15 minutes in just this area.
