Busy January
Here are some latest pics of the Herzog clan. We've been so busy but having fun at the same time. Enjoy the pics and don't forget to view the videos down below.
First time swimming and just chilled out and loved it. Those little swim trunks were SO tight on him I almost had to cut him out of them.
Syd after swimming, hard to take pics and swim and hold a child. But she had lots of fun. I dunked her for the first time and she didn't scream seemed to enjoy it.
A visit to best friend Finley for her bday. Girls are just vaccuuming away....
Trying to get a portrait of the two. Never got a perfect one...shocking haha
Playing with her grocery store items and had to look away for a moment for a picture...hince sass
Mardi Gras beads left over from New Years

Mardi Gras beads left over from New YearsTy Ty and bath time. He loves loves loves his bath time. It's unfortunate he doesn't get one more often. When Grandma is here it's guaranteed but with mom and dad it's iffy haha
This is our latest purchase from Craigslist (I LOVE Craigslist). It's called the learning tower and has allowed me to actually make dinners, clean kitchen and just get stuff done especially in the evenings. A super super find!! Scott took this video and I thought he was taking pictures so excuse my dorkiness :)

January edition
Happy New Year everyone! The holidays are over, all the decorations are put away and life is back to normal. January has already been pretty busy with me going back to work. I’ve very thankful that I’m still just part time so I’m in the office 2 days a week and then work a few hours from home outside of that. It’s nice to break up the week some and of course make some money again. Syd is becoming a busy busy lady these days and is so curious and wants to be in the middle of it all. Ty is almost 5 months now, time has flown by, and is just getting to be so much fun with his laughing and jumping and playing a bit more. He’s still so intrigued by his sister, doesn’t matter what she does he loves it and her. Enjoy the pics.
Daddy and Syd's cheerleading outfit, Husky of course. And no I didn't buy it...it was a hand me down.
Cooking in the kitchen
Hey, is this my thumb?! I'm liking it.
A lot of times I put her in her high chair towards the counter while I'm making dinner and give her some stuff to "cook" in. It buys me at least 20 minutes.

Christmas is here!!
Christmas came and is now gone. All that hard work of shopping, cleaning, cooking, wrapping, outfit changing, festivity hoping etc etc and then you turn around and it’s all over. Goes so fast but it was so fun and worth every minute. We had a great day today waking up to pizza breakfast and coffees. Ty didn’t sleep well at all last night so daddy and I needed to start with coffees. Then after breakfast we all opened gifts and needless to say we were short no gifts. Syd loved each and every one of her gifts and I think it will take her a good 6 months to discover all of them and their capabilities. We cooked slowly throughout the day and I made and I think succeeded on Papop’s chocolate pie. Everyone seemed to like it Papop!! After dinner we forced ourselves to eat dessert haha and now it’s time for some shut eye. Thanks to everyone for treating us all so special today!! We love you!!
Christmas Eve
Christmas Eve was really nice. We really just kinda hung out during the day (well me, gma, gpa and Aunt Helen…Scotty had to work L) then got ready and headed to church The service was so nice and fully kept Syd entertained the entire time. It was really well done and we can’t wait to go next year. Then we headed home for our traditional soup bowls and after the kids went to bed wrapped presents and got all ready for the big day!! We didn’t wait because we thought they’d get a clue but more so that they keep us always moving moving moving so once they sleep we can actually get stuff done J
Snowflake Lane
Went to Snowflake Lane earlier this week and it was pretty cool. It would have been cooler if they would have closed down the street but between the lights, music and fake snow Syd & Ty were entertained the full 30 minutes so really that is what counts :)
