Sesame Street.....LIVE

Well it was our first live childrens show and it was tons of fun for the kids.  They were so mesmorized by the whole experience it was pretty cool to watch through their eyes.  Syd was glued to the stage the entire time and Ty was off and on with the stage and all the surrounding lights.  If you didn't know Ty has a thing with lights.....  Anywho, it was a great time.  We got to see all of our favorite characters:  Elmo, Abbey, Grover, Big Bird, and on and on.  Mommy is exhausted but it was all well worth it.
Eyes on stage

They had a cool stage for a small production.  Many backgrounds and always fast moving.  Gotta keep those kids attention.

Syd stayed on my lap, minus our potty break, the entire time.

Ty danced in the aisles at one point.

My camera strap fell in front so missed the top of this pic but this is a monster that came up while the kids were in the aisle dancing and he danced with Ty.  Ty was in heaven!!!

We got to go with Auntie Melissa and daughter/best friend to Syd, Amie

After the show..."where are they momma?"  It's a hard realization when it's all over...

Mothers Day fun

Had a wonderful Mother's Day with the family.  We started the day with Syd making my chai in the morning.  I heard the vacuum later so must have losts some in the process haha.  Daddy made me breakfast in bed and the kids were so lovely to help me eat it.  We all got dressed and headed to an awesome brunch spot.  The kids did great and ate more pancakes than Scott and I both.  We stuffed our faces then headed home for a quick nap.  Later that evening we played outside and daddy BBQ'd.  It was a great day to be blessed as a mamma.

Taking some pics before brunch outside

My little monkeys that are so difficult to take pics with

Ty was done, Syd said she was hungry, I suppose we're done

A family attempt.  This shirt is not flattering on me...mental note here

At the brunch place they have a bridge where you can look into a pond with lots of fish.  Very exciting!

Again with the shirt....but last family photo before we headed out

I don't want to leave the fishys

Our attempt at sharing snuggle space with mommy....

Daddy's little Huskies

Pretty sure Scott's kids will bleed purple blood before he's done with them :)  It was the Husky football spring game.  We all got up, got dressed in our purple and headed down to the stadium.  They had the practice field all set up for the kids and boy did the kids have a blast.  Syd was so excited it was her first football game, she is her daddy's girl for sure.  They actually sat through about 2.5 hours all happy watching the game.  We did bribe with some serious snacks and hot dogs.  A great day had by all Husky fans.

We are ready for some football action daddy

Throwing footballs with daddy, but it ended up being how many can we collect instead

This how you do it little dude

Practicing her skills

Ty did this over and over and over and loved it

Jumping in the bouncy house

We were here for quite a while

Trying on an actual Husky helmet.  Syd would have nothing to do with it

All tuckered out ready to see some live football.

Easter time fun

This time of year is always tons of fun because the kids get CANDY.  We got lots of fun boxes in the mail from Nana, Aunt CC and Aunt Helen.  We loved it all and it's so exciting to get a box in the mail.  It's always so disappointing when it's just mom's diapers she ordered for us :(  We got to spend Easter with Grammy and Granpy and even got one good day of weather so had extra fun.  On Easter we got all dressed up and headed to church then a special easter egg hunt afterwards.

Our Nana box arrived, yipppeee

Ty wants to know what Syd has that makes all that cool magical noise

More candy

Thanks for all that candy Aunt CC

San Diego Trip - early March

What can I say....I know it's been a while so let's get started with what we've been up to.  Early March we went on a family trip to San Diego.  It was soooo much fun and the kids had such a great time.  One of the best pieces was just the weather.  It's been so awful here that having some sun in SD was amazing.  The kids I think forgot who the sun actually was haha.  We did lots of fun things.  Sea World was a huge hit.  Syd still to this day will do the Shamoo chant just randomly...Shamoo Shamoo, it's very cute and the other day she asked me to go to the Shamoo park.  If only we could, that would be an awesome place to have a membership too.  We spent a lot of time just hangin out with cousins and family which is always great fun.  It's so hard to be far apart so I think we made the best of it while there.  I even did some dancing with the Wii....nothing cuter than dancing while prego...insert eyeroll.  More to come but here are a few pics to enjoy.

Hanging with popop, and daddy got him to say Popop by end of the week.

Syd and Kate spent lots of time together outside playing with sand, flowers, playhouse anything outside and imaginative

History repeats itself with a few more cousins at Old Town's Cousin Candy Shop

Posing with the ladies minus Aunt CC

Shammmoooo Shammmmooooo

Breakfast outside with cousin Glynn

Beach time fun.  Syd played just close to the waterline but was not a fan of how cold it was.

Ty on the other hand was head to toe wet and loved every minute of it.  He raced towards the waves without hesitation
