August baths, cupcakes and sickness

Our first bath together was pretty successful.  Now though Ty has realized he can climb on the sides so now it's a typical high drama situation

Well last week was lots of fun, got some food poisoning.  Thankfully momma and Ty didn't get it but Syd and daddy got it bad.  They got to spend a lot of time together snuggling and throwing up.  Good bonding time for sure :)  Everyone is better now, it lasted about 24ish hours thankfully.

Tyler Gerald is 1

Happy birthday to our sweet baby boy.  It's hard to believe a year ago you got your eviction notice and you joined the family.  Your daddy, sister and I love you tons!  You will always be my sweet snuggly boy!!

We had Tyler's bday party for the big 1 yesterday and it was a successful day minus all the rain we had.  I had a big bubble themed party with favors, TONS of various types of bubbles for the kids etc etc and it RAINED ALL DAY LONG!!!  For the love this summer has not been the summer we've all hoped for.  Anywho, the house maintained about 35 adults and 20 kids pretty well.  All bellies were full and on sugar highs and had lots of great company.  Thanks so much for everyone that helped and for everyone that came to help make Tyler's bday a special one.  He may not remember but his momma and daddy will!!! 

Yes this is my splurge for the baby boy.  She did such an awesome job with every detail and the cake was even good!!

August.....wedding in Spokane

Went to Spokane for the weekend for Cousin Nick's wedding.  We had lots of fun with family and got to meet our brand new cousin McKenzie Mae.  She's quite adorable.  It was a fight to see who would hold her and snuggle her.  Syd was fairly gentle with the baby and even got to wear the same outfit to the wedding which was loads of fun.  Enjoy!

Wrapping up July

Now that little Ty is becoming more mobile it's opening a while new world to both the kids.  It's been so far pretty fun to see them interact a lot more and again so far minimal drama.  Onto August....this summer seems to be moving pretty fast and when I say summer I don't mean summer due to the weather but more just because that's what they are calling this time of year here :)
