December - Cousin Beth's wedding

Went down to Portland for the weekend for Cousin Beth's wedding.  Syd and Ty couldn't wait to dance.  I love their perception of what a wedding is.  We play it often at the house.  First we give eachother a kiss then we have a dance party.  I've never seen Syd dance as much as she did that night.  She had a circle of people around her....that chick needs more to fuel the fire.....  It was super cute though.  Ty "action danced" and needless to say before we even turned the car on to go home they were passed out.

September to today.....catch up time

Well it's been a while but have to catch up before all the xmas pictures start coming and I get so overwhelmed that I give up.  The Herzog clan has been quite busy as of lately.  Lots of fun adventures.  The kids are growing up so fast it's so crazy to just look back a year and compare to today.  Little Wyatt is a wild man, Tyler is never wrong, and Sydney is so busy regulating everyone it's crazy to think she has time for anything.  Enjoy....Love to all.

While I was away on a work trip daddy took the kids to a pumpkin patch with their school.  They had lots of fun together.

We also received a fun package from Great Aunt Helen for Halloween and the kids were all very excited....minus Wyatt.  But really Wyatt was only bummed he had to stop moving for 2 seconds.  Thank you GAH!!!

Family Photos

This year was an interesting year of family photos.  Wyatt is just that age where getting a good picture is hard to come by.  I didn't love a ton of the pictures this year but it does, I suppose, represent the life we call craziness.  Here are a few of my favorites.  The kids took pictures for about an hour and a half and the bribing of anything I had in my purse or stroller was used.  They are pretty cute though, I must admit.  And seeing us all together is a great feeling that is for sure!!

Wow.....who knew this world of American Girl

I hesitated but knew in my heart that Syd might faint if she could go to one of these stores.  Needless to say she had a magical time this evening at her girlfriend's 4th birthday party.  She actually did pretty good when I said we couldn't take her home with us but I mentioned we should ask Santa for a doll.....well maybe not an American Doll but a doll special like that.  Seriously, that stuff is sooooo spendy but they give a good message and my daughter loves it all so I'm going with it.  We had dinner with our baby dolls, strawberry lemonade, cake, ice cream and lots of yummy food.  I'm exhausted from all this Doll talk.  We talked about it allll the way home and until those little eyelids shut down for the night.  Super cute!
