It was
Tyler’s baptism weekend and it was a great success.
We had lots of family in town and friends were able to come as well.
We were very thankful to have those that love Ty there to celebrate his special day, even if just by thoughts
J We went to the church and Ty wasn’t too sure what in the world was going on but we reassured him we’d be with him the whole time.
Scott introduced us all on stage and then read a Bible verse in honor of the occasion then we handed Ty to Pastor George….well he wasn’t happy but only for a moment because when the water was dropped on his head he was like oh ok this is cool….kinda like a shower.
Scott said they had practiced in the shower that morning so he was just remembering what they practiced.
He did great!
Aftwards, we came back home to some lunch (with the help of Grammy and Aunt Helen) and ate and visited.
And you can’t forget the cupcakes.
Tyler loved his cupcakes that the cupcake assembly team did the night before.
He ate the whole thing and ended up running around like a crazy-man the remainder of the day.
All in all it was a great weekend and special day for the little dude.
Thank you to everyone who helped make it special!
