December and beyond

Had a fantastic holiday with friends and family.  It's more and more fun every year with the kids as they "get" what's going on.  It was awesome having Alabama and SpindleShank here to celebrate Christmas with us. We got to spend lots of time with Grammy and Grandpy as well.  It was so great having them watch the kids so I could go back to work and help ALL of us ease into the transition.  Thank you Grammy and Grandpy!!!  Lots of things happened in December so enjoy!!
5 months people, moving up in the world....rolling over like crazy...,mom's not a fan but secretly proud :)

Santa sent his elves to the kids:  Snowflake, Jingle Bell and Sleigh Bell (not pictured) have all arrived, glitter and all

Syd had her first school program where we came and the kids sang a few xmas songs for us.  She was very nervous, sat in her chair and not a sound came out of her but we were proud and I kinda got teary.....haha I'm crazy

A lot of nights leading up to xmas we watched some of the xmas classics on tv.  This was our first year doing that, still a bit early but fun for me and that's what counts :)

The kids each got a xmas tree this year to decorate for their room

About mid December we headed to Port Townsend for our annual Herzog Xmas get together.  It's always great to be able to see everyone and we got great weather which is unheard of this time of year.  The kids had a blast!!! with their cousins and all their aunts and uncles

I would have to say Colin is Ty's coolest in his eyes to hang with.  He would wake up asking where Colin was.  It was pretty darn cute.

Wyatt loving all the attention and snuggles from his cousins.

What a great pic, we're missing some cousins but a super great picture.

Hanging with Uncle Joe

So cute with cousin Caitlin.

Being silly on Caitlin's computer.

After coming back from Port Townsend we celebrated xmas with Grammy and Grandpy.  They flew out to North Carolina the next morning so wanted to celebrate the real thing beforehand.  Syd got some special sheets for her bed.  They are just like Grammy's if you didn't know :)

A big win for xmas this year....power tools

Oh look, already ripped out of Ty's hands....shocking

We also got to celebrate xmas with our favorite garbage dudes.  It was fun to give them a little gift the kids helped make this year.  It was a yummy treat and I do wonder, do you think they ate it in the car and if so do you think they took off their gloves and if so do you think they washed their hands.....I'm just sayin.....maybe we should have gotten them purell

Ok more to come.....
